Slow Day

This was my first weekend not spent in another country, and I'm really enjoying the R&R time. Heidi sent me a beautiful letter with the strict instructions that I was only allowed to read it if I tucked myself away in a dark and mysterious corner of a local tea house. So...this afternoon I walked to The Black Cat, an old tavern famous with rumors of Hitler having dined there often.
The restaurants and tea houses are beautiful here. Many look like they are straight out of medieval times, with dimly lit basements full of nooks and crannies and antique sofas. I will miss them the most when I find myself sitting in a too-well-lit Starbucks or CBTL.
